Jingle, Jingle Lily

Meet Lily!  She's a cute lil digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio and really is so adorable!

November27_2009

I have used a sketch from the CTMH Wishes book and all CTMH papers.  The snowflakes are CTMH as well, I just colored 2 of them with my Copic marker and then added some Shimmerz to make them shine!  I also added flower soft for the snow on the ground and her hand warmer.  I then tried to color it, but that doesn't work so good!

We have had a busy, busy week.  Landon is getting his glasses today, so I best be on my way to get dressed and get over there.  It's Lance's Christmas party tonight for work, so we are going to pick Kirsten up after school and head down to Medicine Hat.  Lance will go to his party and the kids and I are going to grab some supper and then go to the waterslides, pool, hot tub, etc.  They are so excited!

Oh and I nearly forgot to share some fun news with you....Check this out, I made Taylor's Top Crops!  Woohoo, that made my whole week!

Have a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by.

~Sharing Love & Happiness~SSSC#45

I have another card for you using this month's Monthly Card Kit Club. I have used a fun stamp set by Renee Mullins at Plum Purdy and it's called Sharing the Holidays.

November23_2009_MCKC_1

Everything on the card with the exception of the image and sentiment, Stickles and Scribblez (don't pay attention to the ink smear either please...it happened just after I put the Stickles and Scribblez on..but after all of that work, I wasn't about to start over, is from the November Kit called Oh La La.  You can get all the details on these wonderful kits right here.

I have used Karen's great sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. It's sketch # 45 from yesterday!

Landon and I are off to the optometrist in the a.m., then we both get our hair done...kinda sounds funny to say a 4 year old boy is getting his hair done, but, he's getting his cut (for the first time at the hair dresser I might add...usually I cut it with the razor but he wanted a "real hair cut" this time and me -a color and cut!  Then home in time to pick Kirsten up from the bus.

Thank you for visiting and hope you come back again soon!

Dutch Dare # 65-All in Your Pocket...or not!

This week's challenge over on the Dutch Dare blog is called All In Your Pocket. Now it's a cute little pocket card that would be fun, I just didn't end up using it for this challenge..not very good participation I know, but I had problem after problem, first I didn't wait long enough for the image to dry and smeared everything, then I reprinted it and didn't realize it was way to big, then I made the pocket card as per the instructions and my image was bigger than the card, so I gave up and used the fun image but made a card instead!

November21_2009

All of the paper is from CTMH, the brads as well.  I added Shimmerz to the heart (Angel Wings) and to the moon (Beeswax) for some shimmer of course!

The layout is one of Jeanette's fabulous sketches.  You can find all of them right here. I actually thought this was the sketch fro Friday Sketchers this week, but I flubbed up there too, it was her first sketch not the 7th (like it is for FS)  Anyway, onto another creation....

Thank you for stopping by, I love the company and of course the wonderful comments, but most of all, I love "meeting" new people that stop by and all of my great bloggin' friends!

November17_2009_FS#78_MCKC

Now, please be kind...this is my first attempt at coloring with Distress Inks...I am happy with the way it turned out but definitely need practice.  All of the fun, fun papers and cs, flowers and brads are from the November Kit and the image is High Hopes.   I added stickles around the cute little snow family and then around the nestie border too!

I used this week's sketch from over at Friday Sketchers for my layout, oh how I would love the Special Edition Ornament stamps from Elizabeth Bell!!

Landon and I are off to town for groceries and such today, so I better get a move on it!  Thanks for stopping by!

Snowy Wishes~Get Sketchy 14~C4C11

Oh how I love this image.  It's from Mo Manning and it makes me smile!

November14_2009_GetSketchy14_C4C11

I used this weeks sketch from Get Sketchy as well as the bonus item was to use markers and I did, I colored this guy in with my Copics.  The acetate snowflake from Heidi Swapp will also work for the Crazy 4 Challenges this week which is to use acetate!

All of the ppaer and ribbon is from SU!, the acetate snowflake is Heidi Swapp and the white snowflake button is from CTMH.  I added stickles to the acetate snowflake, around the snowman, for the snowy ground and I painted some Shimmerz onto the white button.

Had a nice quiet weekend, just caught up on some laundry and such.  Lance is out of town all week coming up, so it was nice to just hang out together.  The kids and I are about to watch the new Tinkerbell movie while Lance is having a snooze....off I go!

Thanks for visiting!

Deck the Halls-TESC91

Oh my, I've been MIA for a bit! Just a busy week is all, but I am here with a fun Christmasy card for you today. I'm totally lovin' these colors together!

Deck The Halls-TESC91

The felt snowflakes are from Stampin Up!, the pattern papers and cardstock are from the CTMH paper pack called Jingle, the ornament stamp is from the CTMH set-Holiday Trinkets and the pearls are a connection club item from CTMH as well. I sprayed the ornament piece with Glacier Glimmer Mist and it looks so pretty!

We don't have much planed for the weekend so I hope to get some more cards made.  I do have a special project I need to get started on as well, so here's hoping I get some crafty time in!

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to stop and visit me and those that leave such nice comments.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Skating Tilda & Edwin-Wintery Wishes-Nov MCKC-CP#40

I absolutely love these papers, and fun colors!

November9_2009_MCKC#2_CP#40

I made this card using this weeks Card Pattern #40.  I used one of my very favorite images as well, skating Tilda & Edwin.  I actually need this card for some lovely people who donated money to our skating club and thought this would be a perfect fit.  Other than the image, the rhinestones on the snowflakes and the liquid glass (CTMH) I used for my ice patch, everything is from the November Monthly Card Kit

Our kids have today, tomorrow and Rememberance Day off school, so we are headed over to my parents for a visit today and then eye doctor, dentist appointemnts and the kids both get hair cuts tomorrow as well.  It'll be busy but good to get it all done.

Thanks you for comin' on over and having a bit of a visit!

Roundin' Up Some Winter Wishes-DDCC#64, ASFOS #76, HH #51

This one's workin' for me for 3 different challenges! I love it when things work out and challenges can be combined, there are so many great challenge blogs out there but not enough time to do them all;-)

So first off, it's Dutch Dare Card Challenge time and we are asking you to use "felt" on your project for this challenge. Then onto the High Hopes Challenge #51 this week which is to use Snowflakes (and of course a HH image) and then last but certainly not least is the great sketch by Sonja over on the A Spoon Full of Sugar
blog.

Nov5_2009_DDCC#64_ASFOS#76_HHSnowflakes

All paper is from CTMH as is the pretty Twilight snowflake, the 2 white snowflakes are from SU!  I ran the main image piece through my CB for a snow effect, thanks Cindy, you're the best at it!  My papers have snowflakes on them as well as the "felt" snowflakes, my image is from High Hopes, a cute Cowboy Snowman.  I added stickles for some snow as well as the senitment which is from High Hopes as well.

Kirsten is starting singing club today and she is so excited!  I bought her a cute little top (we'll go shopping together for the bottoms as I found a cute velvet skirt, but she's not really a skirt girl, so we'll see) that is ivory satin with a small ruffle on either side of the button placket and sparkly silver buttons for her to wear for when they sing at the Christmas concert and they also carol around town too.

Thank you for taking the time to stop and visit me today!
